Come and experience an incredible weekend of yoga with two of the worlds top instructors. Jivamukti Yoga integrates the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga into our modern lives. The goal of yoga practice is eternal happiness & liberation from suffering. In a Jivamukti class ancient yogic teachings are incorporated into a vigorous hatha yoga practice with the use of traditional postures, music, chanting, poetry and spoken word. Students are encouraged to deeply investigate life, our relationship to the Earth, ecological concerns, compassion for all living beings including vegetarianism and the need to take ethical sociopolitical action. The vigorousness of the practice is essential. It challenges the student's ideas about their abilities, pushing beyond the limitations imposed by the mind and society. Today's society believes that happiness can be obtained from material and outside sources. Yoga practice helps individuals to reconnect with the basic nature of their being: joy. The student begins to understand that lasting happiness is inside each and every one of us. True self confidence results from a firm connection with the external source.

Jivamukti Yoga is a challenging and joyous journey towards enlightenment.

All levels welcome!

"David and Sharon have inspired and encouraged us to think of yoga not just as a system of exercises but as a door to the infinite."— Sting
